Ex-Goldman Sachs Head Says DeFi Will Outperform Bitcoin

The former global head of crude oil and derivatives trading at banking giant Goldman Sachs, Richard Rosenblum is of the opinion that DeFi will steal the attention from Bitcoin in the approaching years. Rosenblum divulged his sights on DeFi, Uniswap and BTC, in an interview with Oliver Renick of TD Ameritrade Network’s “Morning Trade Live”.

Rosenblum mentioned that BTC will keep on developing strongly in his view. Nevertheless, an even more exhilarating product will be DeFi, which will obscure Bitcoin with its development. He said:

“But I think what is more interesting is that when we talk about Bitcoin, we are gonna increasingly talk about decentralized finance, DeFi. […] Bitcoin is an exciting product and I have a good portion of my network dates and it’s probably going more up, but what’s more exciting is these new products that come about that provide other means of decentralized finance.”

Rosenblum emphasized that the Internet was originally just a means of communicating e-mail and information. According to him, the digital asset domain is presently at a phase where people are focusing on trading and lending and borrowing values. Nonetheless, everything will be decentralized soon and we will certainly witness the succeeding steps in the imminent years, as per him.
