Samsung Announces NFT Support On Smart Televisions

The striking growth of the NFT domain has reached the electronics giant Samsung. The Korean organization recently mentioned that it will integrate a new “NFT Aggregation Platform” on its smart televisions beginning this year.

The announcement dated 3rd January outlined a couple of updates that Samsung plans to incorporate in its new series of smart televisions. The NFT Aggregation Platform will come with a couple of features that will permit customers to view their digital collections.

It will be available on Samsung’s MicroLed, Neo QLED, and The Frame models and will also enable users to directly purchase NFTs directly from the television sets.

As the name of the platform suggests, it will aggregate data from a couple of marketplaces and provide information about the artwork as who created it and which blockchain network it uses.

Accordingly, the giant aims to become the 1st electronics company to put NFTs into TV sets.

The non-fungible token sector experienced noteworthy growth last year with the entrance of numberless celebrities and global brands.

Notably, business people, sportspeople, musicians, politicians, and everyone in-between began to get on board as NFTs provide them opportunities to reinforce their relationships with fans and much more.
