China Quarantines Bank Notes To Pause Coronavirus, Crypto Community Insists To Use Bitcoin

As per the latest speculations in the cryptosphere, China has begun to quarantine its cash to as an attempt to break off the proliferation of the deadly coronavirus. In the interim, several crypto enthusiasts started commenting on social media mentioning that the use of BTC as a means of payment should resolve the matter.

On 13th February, the Hubei province of China recorded a significant upsurge of around fifteen thousand new cases and over two hundred new deaths in just twenty-four hours after provincial authorities altered their procedure for diagnosing cases. The founding partner of Primitive Crypto, Dovey Wan claimed on twitter that the Chinese government is underreporting the figures.

A recent report of BBC informed of over two thousand new cases and one hundred and forty two more deaths. As per the official numbers, the total number of people infected by Coronavirus in the country is more than sixty eight thousand.

Chinese Bitcoin mining establishments purportedly being shut seems to have had diminutive repercussions on Bitcoin network hash rate. The crypto network seems to be comparatively robust than earlier, with hash rates continuing to upsurge.
