Recently, Binance CEO took part in an a wide-ranging ask-me-anything session on Binance. Changpeng Zhao, the well-known CEO of Binance, declared significant plans for the digital asset exchange in 2020. One of the most mysterious and least described was the hinted advent of a new product called Binance Cloud. Binance Cloud will purportedly be divulged in the ensuing ten days.
It is to be noted that Zhao continued being reticent during the AMA session. He did not elucidate enough about what exactly Binance Cloud is. Nevertheless, Binance, which is also the largest exchange by daily trading volumes, has posted an opening for a Senior Cloud Engineer, to join the Cloud Architecture and Engineering Team.
The job posting mentions, large scale, gigantic parallel and exceedingly available compute systems on the advanced Cloud Computing platform and necessitates someone who can rally, scale and automate that business-critical Cloud-based architecture.
It still remains ambiguous, how this translates into a consumer product. It seems the answer to all the questions is just a few days away. Further intensifying the conjecture, Zhao tweeted a GIF of some clouds subsequent to the AMA session.
