Chinese Courts Implement Blockchain Based E-Seals for Property Protection

Chinese Courts have revealed blockchain-based e-seals to guard property from being dented. Numerous courts in China have applied blockchain tech as a mode to safeguard properties with an electronic seal. The development was first reported by local court-related website Chinacourt.org.

The Executive Bureau of the People’s Court in Haidian District, Beijing, has purportedly installed a blockchain-based e-seal to protect a property in Chaoyang district.

By applying blockchain-powered electronic sealing, courts are able to firmly screen a property in real-time with the aid of video shadowing, as per a report published by local news agency the Global Times on 5th July.

Precisely, if the property is distressed or being spoiled, the blockchain system inevitably turns on a shadowing mode. After that, it sends cautionary notifications to plaintiffs and law implementation workers. The system is also proficient of creating a photograph of the wrongdoer and transferring it to the appropriate platform, as per the report.

This is the first time that a Beijing court has used an electronic seal for safeguarding a property. Nevertheless, numerous other benches in East China’s Jiangsu Province, South China’s Hunan Province, and East China’s Jiangxi Province have allegedly declared the use of blockchain-based e-seals lately.
