The Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation recently published a web series to teach residents about virtual assets, Bitcoin, and blockchain technology.
The show premiered recently and was developed in association with crypto exchange Binance, Hacken and Crystal Blockchain as part of the “Diia.Digital Education” program supported by Ukrainian government.
It is to be noted that the aforementioned show comprises 8 episodes of up to twelve minutes each that elucidate the fundamentals of digital currencies and blockchain. Furthermore, the web show is hosted by an entrepreneur and former banker, Andriy Onistrat.
The 1st episode of the show is available on YouTube. It introduces the basics of blockchain as a permission less, unstoppable transaction ledger. Significant emphasis is put on the concept of supply auditability. In the show, Onistrat mentioned that the National Bank of Ukraine could always choose to massively grow the supply of the national currency of Ukraine, hryvnia. The marketing manager of Binance in Ukraine, Ivan Paskar elucidates how BTC maintains an immutable, auditable supply.
Earlier, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine pushed for clearer guidelines for the digital asset industry across the nation. This move by the government resulted in some individuals concluding that the nation is well-positioned to entice a flourishing virtual asset ecosystem. Crypto exchange Binance has been working in partnership with the ministry since last year when it signed an MoU to aid develop the nation’s digital currency regulations.
