Justin Sun, the infamous founder of the Tron Network did his charity lunch with well-known billionaire Warren Buffett after a sequence of postponements last year.
As per a press release, Tron’s CEO met with Buffett on 23rd January, in a private not-for-profit country club in Nebraska. Interestingly, there were some other prominent guests also on the list. They include the CFO of Huobi, Chris Lee, the founder of Litecoin Foundation, Charlie Lee,and the head of the Binance Charity Foundation, Helen Hai.
It is to be noted that the founder of Tron Network won a charity auction on eBay to have lunch with Warren Buffett last year. Warren Buffet has been running this charity event from the last twenty years and Sun’s bid last year was the highest ever in the history of the event. Nevertheless, the Tron CEO had to defer the much-awaited lunch because of some medical reasons. In the month of July last year, he declared that he would rearrange his lunch with the billionaire investor very soon.
Sun had markedly extended an invitation for the charity event to US President Donald Trump, ahead of the rescheduling. He did this subsequent to the president’s mocking remarks about cryptocurrencies on social media.
Justin Sun has been making the headlines in the crypto media since Tron blockchain has come on the landscape. Do you think this charity lunch can change the stance of Warren Buffet towards crypto and Tron? Let us know in the comments below!
