Vin Armani, the founder of CoinText, recently shifted to a small Pacific island called Saipan. The main reason behind the move is allegedly the fear of being labeled as “undesirable” in the continental United States.
The virtual currency influencer, along with his family, shifted to a minuscule Pacific island to ride out the coronavirus contagion and break free from the ‘totalitarian tyranny’ he predicted was about to transpire.
Armani commented that he supposed there was a very upright chance of him “being disappeared” if he had stayed in California as he was “an undesirable” in the eyes of unspecified forces.
Similar to several prominent members of Crypto Twitter, Armani is of the opinion that the authorities are using coronavirus as a cover-up to enforce controlling measures.
It is to be noted that the crypto youtuber took his wife and children to Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands in early April. This was just prior to coronavirus restrictions which critically limited the travel options to the region. Nonetheless, the islands are a United States Commonwealth, making it quite easier for inhabitants to access. Interestingly, only about fifty-two thousand individuals live on the Pacific island. However, the youtuber was able to secure housing nearby the beach, allegedly with the help of a contact in the crypto ecosystem.
