In spite of surging by multi-million percentages in a decade, BTC is still susceptible to grow at least ten times from here, as per the Winklevoss twins.
In a conversation with Anthony Pompliano during the 2021 Bitcoin conference, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, the founders of Gemini cryptocurrency exchange, mentioned that they are still Bitcoin hodlers and pledged to hold at least until the price reaches five hundred thousand dollars a pop. Furthermore, they called the United States dollar the “ultimately shitcoin.”
The Winklevoss twins are among the most well known early Bitcoin adopters, having bought considerable amounts in 2012. During the Bitcoin conference, the twins mentioned that they initially purchased the asset when its price was approximately around hundred dollars, which is “the value of some shitcoins today.”
They noted that bitcoin is prone to such an rise as it’s the better version of gold and will ultimately reach the valuable metal in terms of market capitalization, which is contemplated to be well over ten trillion dollars.
In a similar manner to Max Keiser, the Winklevoss brothers underscored the difference between the 2021 BTC conference with more than ten thousand people in attendance, while during their first one in 2013, there were “roughly a few dozen people.”
